How we started doing Hijama Therapy (Cupping)

Back In 2013, my mother was ill and I found Hijama Therapy (Cupping) and finished certification in Hijama Therapy from UK Based, The Optimum Cure and Care, solely for the reason of helping her. I didn’t get the chance to perform Hijama on my mother. I experimented and did Hijama on myself. I had a long history of cervical spondylitis, so I trained my wife so she could perform Hijama therapy on me. Afterwards, my neck pain was relieved and my sleep problems solved. Soon after, I had done Hijama therapy on my wife and sister. They told me how their health was better after Hijama; then I expressed this practice of Hijama Therapy (Cupping), to two of my friends, who wanted me to try it on them. Slowly, but steadily, my friends spread the news of this forgotten Sunnah, of beloved Prophet Mohammed ﷺ to others. I had started doing Hijama Therapy within our family and friends; it slowly started to spread as more people were aware that we were reviving a Sunnah
Initially, I never intended to do Hijama Therapy (Cupping) to help others. Anyhow, people were interested and it went from there. So far I have helped approximately 5000 people and used more than 100 thousand cups , who have witnessed better health and well-being. I opened a clinic Maryland Hijama Center (A Place of Cupping Therapy) in Baltimore, Maryland in 2016. My intention is to educate people with this blessed Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
